The Optimist Club of the Beaches held the North Florida District qualifying tournament for the Optimist International Junior Golf Championship at the Eagle Springs Golf Course, Defuniak Springs on 27 April 2024. A total of 64 Junior Golfers from all across North Florida participated in 7 age brackets (4 boys and 3 girls). When the results were in, a total of 19 Junior Golfers qualified to advance to the Junior Golf Championship at Trump National Doral, Miami, FL from 21-31 July. 12 of those golfers played in the Junior Golf Championship.
